I’VE BEEN GOING TO CHURCH EVERY WEEKEND BECAUSE I WANTED A POMPI FEATURE REVEALS JAE CASH

Rapper Jae Cash took a stroll down memory lane as he and Edna of ZMB Talks visited the neighborhood the rapper grew up in an episode the media dubbed. “Jae Cash took us to the roots.”

While on their way to the Chawama where the two were meant to visit the famous Kuomboka neighborhood, Edna struck up a conversation about church which in turn made Jae Cash reveal about his efforts to get a Pompi feature.

Rapper Jae Cash opened up about his efforts to get a Pompi feature as he narrated how he started going to church. The rapper said, “The things we do for features, I tried to hit up big homie Pompi. Obviously, I needed him on a record right, so he influenced me to be going to church.”

He continued, “Yoh, I’ve been going to church every weekend, you know, to a point where yakocha muli kufuna feature, yangena che mu organic – I feel uplifted.” On Jemax’s Mpawi featuring Jae Cash and Kays Adamz, the rapper on his verse said, “Napita che mu vambili nowonder next single muli Pompi,” thus the fans looking forward to the record.

Jae Cash released his third solo studio album, Voice Yo Dula, on March 2nd, 2025, but to his fan’s surprise, there was no song featuring Pompi on it. But the singer clarified the reasons to why that was the case after Edna asked.

Jae Cash said he meant his next single and not album, hence the reason why there is no song that featured Pompi on the album as it will come when the singer will be releasing a single. Therefore, his fans can rest assured that it is coming, and they have a pretty good idea to what extent the rapper can go to deliver a masterpiece.
