I WON’T STOP WRITING MUSIC, MY JOB ON EARTH IS TO SING – RAPS MUZO AKA ALPHONSO ON NEW SONG

With his last official songs released over two years ago off his “The Recovery” album, the rapper’s fans were elated at the news of his come back after several months in rehab.
Muzo AKA Alphonso dropped some very serious bars on dancehall artist Nez Long’s Story remix featuring Rachael and Leah released today. For the rapper, this was more than just a verse but a chance to make a statement updating his fans.
The rapper opens his verse with some praise to God and thanked him for helping him since the beginning. “Lesa wandi wamakelo, futi mukalamba. Ukufuma epo namwishibila ndi wa mazamba. Nali chinja akale mune wintolesha umupamba. Ukufwala niweka olo twi ngafula ukufula pakwamba,” rapped Muzo AKA Alphonso.
The rapper then went on to say what his fans really wanted to hear as he sent assurance that he would not stop writing music as this is his calling and why he is on earth. Muzo spit bars, “Ishapali ena inyimbo teti ndeke ukulemba, pantu pa chakashika alinjabwishe cibemba.”
He continued, “Umutima wandi wali buta kwati nimbemba, nshakeshe umwana wakwe yesu ukumubemba. Pano pe sonde twaba inchinto yandi kwimba, chila shita ngana bombesha chikwama chifimba. Mwansa kabinga teti eshe amapi kuntimba, ishiwi lyandi elilenga ashime ichilimba.”
The rapper delivers exceptional lyrics filled with poetry. Self praise is not an exception in this verse as his ending line talks about how people borrow radios just to listen to his songs. The verse is filled with the mentions of God signifying how important he is in his life.
Is Muzo back? From his delivery, the rapper is still here, and his message gives hope to his fans as he promises to continue making music.
For now, Muzo is still in rehab, where he has been receiving treatment since November 2024, but this cameo is very important as it gives hope for future projects from the adored rapper. How would you rate Muzo’s rap verse in Nez Long’s song remix?
