ARTIST O’NELLY TAGS UGANDAN BET AWARD WINNER EDDY KENZO FOR “NDONDO” SMASH HIT REMIX
TOP Westen Province artist O’nelly shoots high as he hires top Africa artist and 2015 BET’s Best International Act Eddy Kenzo’s vocals for his 2025 smash hit NDONDO’s remix.
NDONDO featuring Mo Stally is O’nelly’s first official release of 2025, which grew exponentially after turning into a Kuomboka ceremony anthem. Despite its heartbreak message, its infectious melodies became its wings to fly it into a mainstream record.
In announcing the collaboration with the “Mariaroza” hit maker, O’nelly expressed gratitude as he said, “I am deeply humbled and thrilled to be collaborating with one of Uganda’s most iconic and celebrated artists, a global superstar, and this is a truly exceptional honor for me.”
With over 1.7 million instagram followers and his influence on the African entertainment industry, O’nelly hopes to tap into Eddy Kenzo’s grace and take his already smash record to new heights.
NDONDO is arguably Westen Province’s biggest record in 2025 and his biggest career song, accumulating over 360,000 YouTube views in four months.
O’nelly and other Westen Province artists have been putting in work to sell the Bunga sound, and this international collaboration is a testament to their efforts.
Hence, they hope to be appreciated at award ceremonies and not only feature in the Best Western Province category. Nevertheless, this is a huge achievement for the singer.
