Rapper Macky 2 yesterday took to his socials, raising the idea of resurrecting his long dead beef with Slapdee. He warned that he would record a diss track if the rapper does not release new music by the end of the day(today).
In the post, Macky 2 wrote in part, “Someone tell Slapdee if he doesn’t release new music by tomorrow(today) end of day, I will record a diss song, drop it on Monday. Pantu takwaba.. smh.”
The rapper’s last release, Black Na White III (BWIII), was on March 1st, 2024. Over a year on, the rapper has not released new music apart from sporadic features.
XYZ Entertainment CEO and Slapdee’s close colleague Bobby East backed the idea to diss the rapper if he didn’t release new music. “Diss him. In fact, put Mampi on the hook and Tommy D on verse three,” said Bobby East.
Several of his fans have also been calling on the rapper to release new music. Notably, a radio host and socialite, Paige Ethy Kamanga.
She told the rapper that if he releases new music before the year ends, she would give the man crushing on her a chance. If it happens today, that man is in luck.
Many social users are skeptical of the authenticity of this “beef” threat as they think it is just a pre-release stunt to promote the rapper’s upcoming release.
Well, there’s only one truth, people want new music from the rapper. Will it come today? If it does not, Macky 2 is ready to drop a diss track this tomorrow. Either way, the fans are about to be entertained.
