THE ICON ZAMBIA’S REJECTED STAR DAELIGHT OFFERED 5-YEAR RECORDING DEAL BY PRODUCER MR STASH’S BLACKOUT RECORDS

After successfully qualifying to the next round of the musical talent competition, THE ICON ZAMBIA, singer DAELIGHT, faced his next challenge – to deliver an instrumental backed performance good enough to impress the judges.

Dressed in his best artistic suit Daelight appeared on The Icon Zambia’s stage on “THIS WEEK ON” anticipation video delivering a soothing performance sandwiched in ASAKE’s Lonely At The Top and KIMPY featuring NEO’s Balikuti.
To Delight and the audience’s shock, the new judge “MIKE” who has replaced David Kazadi did not find the performance delightful.
He told the singer that he couldn’t wait for the performance to end as it made him feel like someone was grinding his teeth with a grinder. He added that the singer did not qualify to be on that stage, leaving everyone in attendance and viewers shocked.
BLACKOUT RECORDS owner Mr. Stash captioning the video said he saw the opposite in daelight and then went ahead to offer him a five year recording deal.
He wrote, “From a producer’s standpoint, Daelight’s exceptional talent is clear and highly promising.”
He continued, “I am prepared to propose a five-year recording contract with Blackout Records, encompassing the production of three albums. He is undoubtedly an emerging star with great potential.”
Daelight captioning Mr. Stash’s post accepted the offer as he wrote, “Thank you so much for recognizing my talent and believing in my potential. I truly appreciate the confidence you’ve shown by proposing such an incredible opportunity.”
He continued, “This means a lot, and I am excited about the possibility of working together to bring my vision to life.”
It’s truly dark before dawn – from being rejected harshly, Daelight now has an opportunity to grow his musical career even though without K250,000, a house, a car, and a trip to Paris.
