EVEN IN DEATH, DORA MOONO NYAMBE STILL WINS BIG AT THE ZAMTEL SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS
Philanthropist Dora Moono Nyambe’s work still speaks loud even in death.
The foster mother has been recognised and appreciated for her immense work in Mapapa Village, Central Province, where she housed, clothed, fed, and educated over 500 children, with some being victims of Child Abuse.
Dora pursued legal action and saw several successful convictions of men who had defiled children in that village.
The late Ms. Nyambe mainly depended on public donations. She successfully organised these donations through her social media platforms.
Zamtel has, through the ZAMTEL SOCIAL MEDIA AWARDS, awarded the late humanitarian with SOCIAL MEDIA FOR GOOD and BEST INSPIRATIONAL CONTENT CREATOR awards after a public vote.
Her team walked away with 50,000 Kwacha in cash. Dora died on December 25th, 2024. She was 32 years old. ♥️
