YO MAPS TO PAY ABOUT 440,000 KWACHA IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 10 ZAMBIA ROYAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
TOP Zambian singer YO MAPS took the stage yesterday at the 7th Zambia Royal Medical University graduation ceremony held at Showgrounds in Lusaka, entertaining the attendees.
While the graduates were still starstruck by his performance, the singer announced that he would pay for 10 students’ entire programs’ fees at the said university.
For diploma programs, this would mean about 351,000 Kwacha for the 10 students considering tuition fees averaging 5,850 Kwacha for each of the 6 semesters.
Meanwhile, for degree students, this would translate to 532,000 Kwacha considering an average tuition fee of 6,656 Kwacha l for each of the 8 semesters.
On avarage, this translates to about Ā±440,000 Kwacha for the ten students’ entire programs tuition fees.
