Singer MAMPI has kept her word as she has released a song addressing her critics on their continued calls for her to get married and have children. She has tagged fellow singer Chile One’s vocals to echo her cries.
In her song MULOMO, the singer laments about how nothing she does is regarded as good, and all the good things she does are ignored.
She tells the critics that they were never there during her struggles for them to always gossip(mulomo) about her.
In the song’s chorus, the singer continues to talk about how if life became hard and she had the children they keep telling her to have, they won’t help her or take care of the children, therefore, they shouldn’t stress her.
Singer Chile One came on and re-emphasized Mampi’s message.
Mampi continued to highlight the reasons why she doesn’t want to have children or get married.
“Sibanga zinifunsa pali day yamene nizaka bala kwati ndiye bazaka sunga ai, let’s say nabala apa mu bank muli lunga?” she sang in part, questioning her critics.
She then blessed her critics and said she won’t be pressured into doing something she doesn’t want as she’s comfortable and doesn’t want any problems.
Mampi’s cyberbullying has persisted for years. The recent bullying incident that happened after she shared images attending Abby’s chilanga mulilo triggered her into responding through multiple social media posts and now through a song.
