ALICE MUSUKWA SAYS HER “MAN” BOUGHT HER THE OVER $10,000 WORTH HERMÈS HANDBAG

Zambian pageantry national director Alice Rowlands Musukwa shared receipts online to confirm that she does indeed own an authentic Hermès handbag — a response to online criticism surrounding her luxurious accessories.

The backlash followed public concern over her call for donations to help buy a Honda Fit for Miss Supranational Africa, Namakau Nawa to facilitate her ambassadorial duties movement, while appearing to own expensive luxury items.
In her defense, Ms. Musukwa captioning an image of the receipts and the Hermès handbag said, “The first time I held my breath and asked my man if this was really mine. I said thank you to my man, my man, my man.”
She questioned why anyone would ask her to “sell such a precious gift,” adding, “And you ask me to sell? Let her sell her handbag so I don’t shop again? You guys are petty,” she said.
“These pageants have left me broke, I can’t even afford toilet paper at the moment,” she further stated.
Musukwa on the post she received the backlash had responded to one social user saying she has invested more into the pageant industry than most realize, claiming it cost her more than five Honda Fits to get the peagents to the current status since taking over.
Many of her followers her stating that it was indeed unfair for her to sell her such precious personal belonging to finance a national cause.
Despite this being for the nation’s benefit, she has still invested her own personal money, highlighting her commitment and love for the peagentry industry in Zambia which he has uplifted since her take over.
