Chile One wows crowd performing in the USA among mixed feelings from fans
As Zambia celebrated its 60th Independence Day, Chile One Mr. Zambia travelled to the United States to participate in the festivities, performing for the Zambian diaspora.
The singer, known for his lively shows and “Chililabombwe vibes,” aspired to leave his mark on the global stage and connect with admirers far away. However, videos from the performance elicited various kinds of emotions from fans and critics.
One video shows a faraway crowd that does not completely interact with Chile One’s customary upbeat performance approach.
Observing this, several followers said that he introduced a “local vibe”, saying, “He took Chililabombwe vibes to the USA,” gently criticising the artist’s struggle to get the crowd on their feet.
This reaction has generated concerns about if the performance style was appropriate for this foreign stage.

This transition most likely reflected Chile One’s artistic path, displaying a mix of tenacity and finding an audience who truly relates with his approach.

Despite the conflicting reactions, Chile One’s girlfriend, Tianna, took to Facebook to send a sincere message of encouragement. She said
“It may look like nothing to others because they might not know how it feels to come from nothing to being someone that others can look up to. The same music they consider to be village is the same music that has taken you places others may never reach.”
Her statements highlight Chile One’s dedication and resilience throughout his career.
Tianna’s speech praised Chile One’s individuality and sincerity. She emphasised that his roots, which some reject as “village,” are the very foundation of his success—a distinct style that has taken him beyond borders.
“When it’s your time, even a basket will carry your water” she said, emphasising the power of fate and Chile One’s talent. Her post ended with a proclamation of pride in his accomplishments, as well as her optimism for his ongoing progress, adding,“I want you to reach your highest potential in life because I know when your life is fulfilled, you will fill my home with peace and happiness.”

Chile One’s artistic path parallels the greater experience of Zambian culture making its way onto the world arena, which has been fraught with problems as well as triumphs.
While his performance in the United States elicited conflicting reactions from some supporters, it’s apparent that his fan base remains strong.
