CHONGWE MP, MAYOR DITCHED US, ANNA MUSONDA WON’T PARTICIPATE IN MISS GRAND 2025 – ALICE MUSUKWA
Zambia’s TOP peagentry National Director Alice Rowlands Musukwa announced that due to Chonge MP and the mayor not fulfilling their financial pledges, Anna Musonda will not be participating in this year’s MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL.
Ms. Musukwa said honourable Masebo and Mayor Christopher Habeenzu missed their early September deadline and ceased communicating, and now they only have 48 hours to meet the budget required to send Miss Grand Zambia, Anna Musonda to that competition.
“Help is not mandatory, but communication is,” Ms. Musukwa lamented about leaving them with limited time.
She added that ARM Model Management and Nkada Yatu had raised 90,000 Kwacha and managed to secure a nonrefundable license deposit, air tickets, wardrobe, photoshoot fees, and other necessary requirements.
“Unfortunately, we must step back this year and hope Anna Musonda can represent us next year,” she said.
Ms. Musukwa revealed that the required balance is 90,000 Kwacha as she has already paid 30,000 Kwacha from her pocket.
Some of her followers have noted that even through she has announced that Anna Musonda won’t attend, she still sounds optimistic looking at the fact that she is still paying and has invested in a lot, making the announcement sound like an appeal.
Nevertheless, Ms. Musonda is supposed to feature at the 13th edition of Miss Grand International 2025, which is set to be held at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, starting on 18th October 2025 but it seems that may not be happening.
