CHRISTOPHER CHOSE SCHOOL OVER THE ICON ZAMBIA SAYS THE TALENT SHOW AS FANS QUESTION HIS ABSENSE
After The Icon Zambia announced this season’s TOP 15 contestants, Kimberly noted with concern that her favourite contestant CHRISTOPHER was not on the list.
A query with the Icon Zambia revealed that the rapper preferred writing exams to participating in musical talent competition.
“He had to make the very difficult decision to focus on his exams while we continued filming the remaining episodes. As a result, he had to forfeit his seat, which was then given to a judge’s wild card pick,” the Icon Zambia responded to Kimberly.
They added, “Education is incredibly important, and while there will always be more seasons of Icon for him to audition for, he absolutely made the right choice in prioritising school.”
On the Icon Zambia S2’s episode 7, Christopher featured delivering his usual energetic, thrilling, and exciting performances, which got him a lot of praise from the judges with judge BIG MIKE saying it was a 10/10.
Reacting to the TOP 15 contestants Christopher alias Chris Jynx Duzo captioning an image of him looking at a phone wrote, “Me after seeing that am not on The Icon Zambia top 15 list, am like ala kabili(shocked & laughing emojis).”
Now, the air has been cleared on why he hasn’t made the TOP 15, and the show continues, but his fans are still optimistic about seeing him back on the show next season.
