Faith Bwalya arrived in India yesterday, settling in her hotel at 11pm Indian local time. The Miss World Zambia 2025 is scheduled to participate in the 72nd edition of Miss World, taking place in Telangana, India, starting today, and the winner to be crowned on 31st of May, 2025.
The 24-year-old model took to her Facebook upon arrival at her hotel room and went live to update her followers on her trip and send thanks to her sponsors, including her management ARM Model Management Agency.
Faith Bwalya sent a strong message of assurance to her devoted fans and the country at large, acknowledging their unwavering support and promising to deliver her very best at the international stage as she prepared sufficiently.
She said, “Thank you so much for the love, the support, I’m so overwhelmed and promise to give Zambia my best. I have done so much intense preparations looking at the time frames we’ve been working with. It’s been hectic, it’s been tiring, but we’ve pushed through.”
During the live, the Miss World Zambia also gave insight into the warm reception she received at the airport and hassle free logistics with no immigration troubles. Faith Bwalya looked stunning wearing a Zambian flag inspired outfit by Nkanda Yatu.
The 72nd edition of Miss World’s 72nd will be held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in India, on May 31st 2025 – the title holder Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event.
In her own words, “I’m just here to update everyone that Zambia is in India, we have arrived,” and she truly has! With elegance and beauty, like many Zambians, Faith Bwalya will be looking forward to winning the title, and she has all the support she needs.
