- Hollywood talks Yo Maps as OC accepts IAM award on his behalf
Yo Maps became a topic of discussion in Hollywood as he became the first African artist to win IAM Award in the United States of America on the BET awards weekend.
This was reviewed by fellow artist OC Oscillation who accepted the award on his behalf when he wrote
“So a couple weeks ago I had an honor to receive an Award on behalf of my boy Olio for best International Artist at the first ever IAM AWARDS hosted in Hollywood during the BET AWARDS weekend. The superstar responded in the comment section thanking OC for the gesture. “Cheers big man 💪💪am humbled” – responded the superstar.
It’s safe to say Yo Maps is now a household name worldwide as he is now wining awards he might not be aware that he’s nominated.
Yo Maps is a previous recipient of another award in the USA known as African Entertainment Awards USA as well as other local awards show such as Kwacha and Ngoma Awards.
The superstar is truly being appreciated for all the amaizing work he does and this seems to just be the beginning.
