I AM THE BEST ZAMBIAN ARTIST, ONLY SECOND IF IT’S GOD FIRST – CHEF 187

Featuring on comedian and rapper Ndine Emma’s skit interviews in an episode release last night, rapper Chef 187 did not agree with his host’s introduction assertion as he called him Zambia’s second best artist.

The rapper, with a calm tone, responded, “Second yafuma kwisa first? Kaili ifwe tubomba nailya ati I’m only second if its God first, waishiba?”

Ndine Emma continued to press as he said he deals with facts and therefore asked the rapper how he feels being Zambia’s second biggest artist.

Chef 187 would respond by asking his host in an effort to find out whose eyes he is the second best Zambian artist. “Second best artist, mumenso yabanani?” He asked.

To the rapper’s credit, he stands as the most listened to Zambian rapper on Spotify and Boomplay as he has accumulated millions of streams.

According to him, on his interview on Kenny T 1 ON 1 podcast, the rapper said earns around a 120,000 Kwacha per performance, therefore, settling as one of, if not the highest paid rapper in Zambia.

On who is the best Zambian artist, that is a very controversial question, with no proper criteria in place to make that conclusion. The choice in naming who is is usually oiled with bias.

But, for Chef 187, he strongly believes that he is without a doubt as he told Ndine Emma that that’s the reason he is called NUMERAL UNO. But is he? Well, what do you think, and why?
