JAY ROX SAVED ME AT MY LOWEST, HE GAVE ME A JOB AND A SHOULDER TO CRY ON VENTS WYCLIF MWAMBA

Filmmaker, socialite, and police officer Wyclif Mwamba took to his Facebook to pen a heartfelt message to fellow industry peer, rapper Jay Rox. In the post, the filmmaker thanked the artist for his help while he was at the bottom struggling with depression.
Wyclif Mwamba recounted a tough time in his life as he shared, “There was a time in 2020 when things were very tough in my life. I was broke and in great debts, and I felt my career was stagnat. I was almost going into depression.”
He alluded that he was saved by an angel in the form of Jay Rox as he came through for him, offering him not only a job but brotherly love. He continued as he further shared, “Until my brother came for me. He gave me a job and his shoulder to cry on. He used to check on me almost every day until I got back on my feet. This is one person I know who understands what brotherhood means. Muntu saana Jay……Roxaaaaa!!!”
For those who are not familiar with Wyclif and Jay Rox’s relationship, on April 9th 2025, the filmmaker whilst in Ndola had made a video while driving navigating a roundabout as he yelled at Jay Rox Betway billboard saying, “So ba Ndola efyo nami chitila bwingi ine, tamwa bike pa billboard, ulya mu kolwe Jay Roxa, ali pa billboard mu city yandi. Iwe iwe chokapo iwe!”
A video that seemed like the filmmaker was expressing utterly displeasure at the rapper’s presence on a billboard in his city whilst he had none featuring his image erected – siting unfairness looking at the work he has done for the city.
His followers found the video rather humorous as it was regarded as bromance. Yesterday, the filmmakers’ post had shade more light on the two creatives’ relationship – revealing a more rather affectionate bromance.
The message melted his followers’ hearts with most people admiring the help Jay Rox rendered during his dear friend’s plight, and the kind of person the singer is – wishing they had similar relationships with their friends.
