KWACHA MUSIC AWARDS 2025 SET FOR NOVEMBER 29TH, NOMINEES TO BE SELECTED BASED ON RADIO AIRPLAY FROM 45 RADIO STATIONS
In a statement shared on their socials, Kwacha Music Awards has revealed that the 7th edition’s awarding ceremony is set for November 29th, 2025, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.
They announced that the nomination process is already underway and 45 radio stations are participating in choosing this year’s nominees based on radio airplay.
“The nominees will be published on Friday, 12th September 2025,” the statement said in part.
The organization further announced that the nomination letters will be sent to artists nominated on September 15th, 2025, while voting will commence on 17th September and will go on for 8 weeks until November 14th.
“To ensure the integrity of the process, adjudication and verification of results will take place from Monday, 17th November to Friday, 21st November 2025, followed by auditing and verification of votes from Monday, 24th November to Friday, 28th November 2025,” the organization added.
The 7th edition of the prestigious Kwacha Music Awards is here and is promising to be bigger and better. Zambia music lovers and stakeholders have shown excitement and can definitely not wait to see the nominees list.
