LET’S BUILD, WIN TOGETHER, AND STOP DISCREDITING INDUSTRY COLLEAGUES IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES – DRIMZ SPEAKS OUT

Despite not explicitly stating to whom his message was directed, his fans quickly decoded the message from a short article DRIMZ wrote on his new Facebook, “BASHI LOTA.”

Supposedly appalled by one of the top artists in Zambia who went on an international programme to brag about how he had some Zambian artists’ careers in his hands – Drimz wrote an article titled “Of BOOMPLAY, ARTISTS and INDUSTRY” apparently responding to the trending story.

The singer started by asking fellow Zambians not to take pride in individuals seeking credibility through arrogance and disrespect of an entire industry.

Drimz denounced the act of discrediting and disrespecting industry colleagues in pursuit of clout. “It doesn’t make it right or entertaining, and neither does it DEFINE who we are as a PEOPLE.”

The singer called for unite and respect for the industry that has given many creatives a livelihood as it is more beneficial than the imaginary kingdoms and camps.

“Let us be big on building each other and winning together. Tamwaba loss mukubombela chapamo,” the singer vented.

Even though the singer did not mention names, his fans speculate that this honest and important message is as a result of a trending Yo Maps story.

In the trending story, Yo Maps said that he has been telling Boomplay to remove artists from his portal which had about 75 artists therefore cutting their royalty payments while on an interview with Malawian TV host Felistus Ngwira on MIJEDO CONNER.
