MERCY G ART THRIVES WITH LEATHER, SELLS CUSTOM LEATHER BELTS & WALLETS IN ZAMBIA, GHANA AND UGANDA
Supreme polymath 26 years-old Mercy Gondwe alias Mercy G Art never seizes to amaze her followers as her new venture of making custom lether belts and wallets from scratch sees a fast growth in sales as her products sell like hot pancakes within three months of launching prompting her to pen a motivation post.
Mercy G Art revealed that she was sceptical about starting the business as she wondered if people would buy, but to her surprise, she received positive responses from her followers.
“After realizing that I would have many clients, the next day I made my logo, created the page and started my business without any plans, help, and machinery,” said Mercy G Art.
“It all started as a joke,” said Mercy G Art as she further reflected on her business’ success which is making sales not only in Zambia but Uganda and Ghana with thoughts of expanding, “MG Leather will be big in Zambia cause he is a God of impossibilities,” she added.
Mercy G Art’s reflection is far beyond showing off what she has achieved with her MG Leather brand as her aim was to make an illustration, a statement that it is possible to be successful at something if one pursued the business idea they have been hesitant to start.
“I strongly encourage my fellow youths that want to major in business TO GO FOR IT without doubt. Don’t wait for the government or prominent people to invest or empower you. Start your business, empower, or invest in yourself. They will come in once they notice that you are able to do it on your own,” said Mercy G Art.
Mercy G Art is an all in one person – she is a drummer, pencil artist, painter, builder, and now a leathersmith, among other skills, making her qualified to be called a polymath. Above all, she is an example of what many youths ought to emulate.
Three months on, her business has seen immeasurable success, and there’s still more to come – her followers? Are proud and inspired to take the step and pursue their enterpreneural goals.
