Social media users divided over a buttocks showing picture of Yo Maps' wife Kidist Kifle
Being Zambian comes with several expectations from the society as certain conducts, dressing and lifestyle are seen as morally not accepted by majority – for a wife the limitations may be seen as extreme or more unrealistic for morden wives.
Zambian social media was served with a topic to share several different views as a picture of top Zambian artist Yo Maps‘ wife went viral for what most described as an indecent on a post shared by Kalemba which included the celebrity wife picture captioned, “Kidist Kifle – Mrs Yo Maps!”
The picture showed the celebrity wife in a black dress with silver bids that reveales one-third of the back and upper part of the wife’s buttock. Stunning as she looked in that picture it seemed to generate different views from several social users.
One user was noted saying, “Muzela onse panja awe she looked beautiful if that’s what you want,” in this case “muzela” referring to the intergluteal septum, simply saying all that was left out side.
Another user shared a long comment sharing what she thought about the dress code as she wrote, “Marriage brings many people together. Meaning, your family, in-laws and friends opinions also matter. Culture also comes in. So if this family has a birthday party and family members are invited then this international mulamu arrives in this dress if they are all comfortable then it’s ok and if they are not then it’s not okay.”
The user went ahead and said, “Us the Facebook family comes in on the culture and traditions part. Is it okay for a married woman to show itako mu public? What is the position of marriage counselors on this or even them it’s as long as the husband is happy it’s ok. Mailo ati divorce rates are high or men are scared to marry.”
While this user had a different view as he shared a comment which stated, “She is very smart building her own brand, following and businesses leveraging on her husband’s fame and fortune.”
