MUZO AKA ALPHONSO COMPLETES REHAB PROGRAMME, STOPS MUSIC FOR A CAREER IN TEACHING

On 2nd July 2025 – popular rapper Muzo AKA Alphonso alias Musonda Chishimba announced his completion of a seven months long rehabilitation programme at Great North Road Academy Rehab Centre in a social media post on the institution’s Facebook page.
The 30 years-old rapper was admitted to the institution after public outcry over his bad state look, which was secondary to substance abuse such as cannabis, tobacco, and elicit alcohol.
Philanthropist and enterpreneur Remmy Kangwa, the rapper’s family, and others necessitated his admission into the rehab programme.
In the video in which he announced his rehab programme completion, the rapper who started with his usual songs’ intro expressed gratitude to Dr. Rozious Siatwambo for helping him, acknowledging that it is not easy.
He further added that, in the seven months journey, he had learned a lot, including stopping taking alcohol and smoking. Thus, he was appealing to the people he would be hanging with post rehab to know how to deal with him.
Muzo AKA Alphonso’s mother, who went to pick him up, expressed great happiness and gratitude to Dr. Rozious Siatwambo and his staff for the work they have done. She further stated that there was a huge change difference in her son compared to how he was at the time of admission.
