MY CHARACTER ISSUES CAUSED A RIFT IN OUR MARRIAGE, I WAS NOT WILLING TO DIE FOR MY WIFE LIKE CHRIST – MAG 44 SPEAKS ON HIS DIRVOCE

Rapper and producer Magnus Mando alias Mag 44 while on his Truth Tuesday podcast’s episode 5 tittled “I got divorced” opened up about the tough end to his six year marriage and counting himself among 2019’s 28,000 divorces he read in a news paper.
The 40 year old rapper who is now remarried categorically stated that he was speaking on his side of the story, excluding those who did not want to take that path further requesting that he and those people continue receiving the respect they have received in the past 6 years since their divorce.
Mag 44 revealed that there was no dramatic reason behind their divorce such as infidelity or GBV, something he doesn’t condone as he cited his character issues for the drastic change of the nature of their relationship, from a happy couple to barely understanding each other.
“But in a nutshell, there was definitely, I can guarantee you that there was character issues on my end that caused that rift, right?” said Mag 44.
Mag 44 also added, “And I think if you ask me what’s a big reason why I decided to get divorced is, I just didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I think I looked at a Hollywood relationship and thought that’s how it’s supposed to be.”
The rapper/producer who mentioned that there’s always going to be character differences in relationships as these are influenced by environmental and genetic(DNA) factors highlighted the extent of their differences.
He said, “But then I was in a place where we both felt so overwhelmed by our differences that we thought for sure, you know, we must get divorced.”
The artist who said he didn’t walk into the marriage to get divorced like everyone doesn’t as he upholds the word of God, quoted Ephesians 5 vs 25 which says, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”
“I think that one is such a powerful one. And it gives me two things that I’ve been thinking about for the past five years. One is dying for her.”
He further added, taking the blame for his failed marriage, ” I say it was my fault because I should have pursued being like Christ more than, oh, these are the faults this person has. These are the issues in our marriage.”
“I’m remarried now to a wonderful person. And, you know, we have started a family together. So I think the perfect judgement of character, the perfect mirror of how we should be as people, is Jesus Christ,” said Mag 44.
From a rapper who threw bars on the mic about marriage troubles in his song “Shipikisha club” to acknowledging not being aware of how to handle the ups and downs of marriage which later wrecked his marriage – Mag 44 has one message for those who are single, married or thinking of getting divorced, “love the way Christ does.”
