NAMAKAU NAWA LEAVES FOR POLAND AHEAD OF MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2025

The tall and beautiful Silozi breed model has today departed for Lesser (Małopolska), Poland as she is scheduled to participate in 16th edition of Miss Supranational, the festival which runs from June 9th to 28th, 2025, with the final and crowning night scheduled for June 28th.
Namakau Nawa was in the company of her management agency team from ARM Model Management Agency, fellow peagent titleholders, and traditional dancers as they traveled from Agora Apartments to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport where she departed from this afternoon.
The 19 years-old model has already gained traction in the competition as her performance in the SUPRA CHAT saw her win episode 8 and reaching the finals.
The winner of the SUPRA CHAT secures a spot in the top 25 contestants in the peagent.
While contestants who do not win the SUPRA CHAT do not get eliminated, but they will participate in other challenges such as night gown presentation, interviews, or talent shows during the festival allowing them to compete for a qualification to the next stages.
Other contestants will be lucky enough to get wildcards based on their performance that will allow them to automatically qualify for the next rounds during the festival.
Zambia has had three appearances on the international stage as Mercy Mukwiza (2019), Savena Mushinge (2022), and Candy Mathews (2023) featured on the Miss Supranational stage in their respective stages, unfortunately all of them were unplaced as they failed to reach the semifinals or finals.
Namakau Nawa, was crowned Miss Supranational Zambia 2025 at a ceremony held at Mulungushi International Conference Center on April 20th, 2025.
The 19 years old model now has her eyes on the Miss Supranational crown as she hopes to receive the crown from Indonesia’s Harashta Haifa Zahra, who is the current titleholder.
The expectations on her of breaking a tradition practised by previous contestants are high as many hope she is placed at the Miss Supranational 2025, but overall, her Zambian supporters send well wishes.
