Peter Okoye Unveils Alleged Financial Mismanagement in P-Square, Clarifies Role in EFCC Case

Peter Okoye, one half of the iconic Nigerian music duo P-Square, has made serious allegations against his elder brother Jude Okoye, accusing him of secretly diverting millions of dollars from the group’s royalties.

In a detailed statement, Peter clarified that he never reported his twin brother Paul Okoye to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as previously claimed by Paul in recent interviews.

Peter explained that the controversy began when he discovered a secret company named Northside Music, which he alleges was set up by Jude and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye, to siphon off funds from P-Square’s main company, Northside Entertainment.

According to Peter, this company had been receiving P-Square’s royalties for years without his knowledge, a betrayal he described as deeply shocking.

Peter further revealed that despite multiple attempts to discuss the matter privately with Paul and Jude, he was met with resistance, forcing him to involve the EFCC.

However, he emphasized that his legal actions were directed solely at Jude and his wife, not Paul. Peter also claimed that after Jude confessed to the financial mismanagement, his accounts were frozen, and he was released on bail.

The ongoing rift between the Okoye brothers has continued to play out publicly, with Peter promising to release more evidence, including the EFCC’s final report and relevant financial documents, in the near future.

This latest development adds another chapter to the long-standing tensions within one of Africa’s most celebrated music groups.

Fans and observers alike await further updates as the situation unfolds.
