POMPI VENTS AFTER HE & HIS FAMILY WERE TURNED BACK FOR ARRIVING 20 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME AT LIVINGSTONE CROCODILE PARK

GOSPEL artist POMPI took to his social to vent over his disappoint with Livingstone Crocodile Park staff for turning him, his wife Esther Chungu, his two kids, five nieces and nephews back for arriving 20 minutes before the park’s clossing time.

“We arrived at 16:40, well within the advertised operating hours of 08:00 to 17:00. However, we were met with a very rude refusal at the reception. We were told we couldn’t enter because “sessions take long” and that we should have arrived earlier,” the gospel artist explained why they were refused access.
The gospel singer blamed the park staff for failing to properly inform their paying customers of the last entry time, stressing that it is because of failure to communicate, his “special family” out was spoiled after a long drive with kids who were excited for a first time crocodiles and snakes viewing experience.
POMPI further said that efforts to talk to the facility manager were futile as the attending stuff said Easter weekend left them exhausted and hungry as they couldn’t get a chance to eat.
“While I empathize with hardworking staff, how is that the customer’s burden to bear? There was zero accountability and, frankly, the lack of a simple apology was offensive,” he vented.
The gospel singer went on to say that hospitality should be the gold standard for a city that prides it self as the tourism capital and business can’t decide to stop operating without concern for the people who support them.
“Time is valuable, and today, ours was completely disregarded,” said POMPI before asking his followers if the park’s act was justified.
The singer’s outcry has been met with mixed feelings with some agreeing with him stating that the park should have made that clear in their advertising.
Meanwhile, some social users did not agree as they asked that if he was a producer and he closes his studio at 5pm and an artist comes 20 minutes before closing time, was he going to produce and record for the artist?
The Livingstone Crocodile Park is yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
