SORRY FOR RANTING, DONT REMOVE ME FROM YOUR BOOMPLAY PORTAL – RUFF KID BEGS FOR YO MAPS’ FORGIVENESS AND VOCALS
Zambian rapper now residing in South Africa RUFF KID has taken to his socials swallowing the words he uttered early this year as he seeks YO MAPS’ vocals on his upcoming album that has been making him sleep in SA studios just to record.
In the post, the rapper wrote, “Yo Maps find time to forgive me for pontaling for you, I still need you on the album and please don’t delete me on Boomplay.”
In early January, the rapper criticised Yo Maps for making a tribute song “I WISH” for the late legendary artist Dandy Krazy, saying he refused to feature on his songs when he was alive but chose to do a tribute song, suggesting he is showing fake love.
The rapper further called out Yo Maps for not picking his calls as he wanted him to feature on his album. He said his manager, DJ Kandeke, always told him that he went to his plot each time he called.
DJ Kandeke responded by calling out the rapper’s unprofessionalism while Yo Maps during a Facebook live laughed the claims out as he said, “Shiasuka!” Further adding that he is not his relative for him to be mandated to answer his calls.
Well, Ruff Kid is desperate for Yo Maps’ vocals that not only has he swallowed his pride but his words too.
His fans have mixed feelings, but most see it as a determined rapper who wants to make a hit song and make money from Boomplay.
The collaboration is possible, as noted from Yo Maps’ remarks on enemies when he featured on MIJEDO CONNER hosted by Felistus Ngwira.
He said that, as long as money is involved, he’ll put enmity aside and work with the person, and then they can resume fighting after they are done making money.
So maybe not all hope is lost for the rapper as he should make the call, first asking for a quotation and bank details. Yo Maps is yet to respond to this apology.
