TOWELA KAIRA SAID SHE ALMOST FEATURED RUGER BUT EVERYTHING FELL OFF AS SHE REFLECTED ON HER WORST CAREER MOMENT
While on Kenny T 1 ON 1 podcast, Zambian music marvel Towela Kaira shared one of her most disappointing career moments as Kenny T asked her a question from his previous guest. “The question reads what has been the worst moment of your career so far?” Asked Kenny T.
Towela Kaira responded, “I can’t really say it was a worst moment, but like it was really disappointing for me. There was a collaboration I was pushing for, and then it almost happened. Almost happened, you know, and then it just fell through, you know, it really rocked my world.”
Kenny T then pursued to find out who the artist was as he asked Towela Kaira, “Would you like to tell us who it is?”
To which the superstar responded, “I had a potential collaboration with Ruger. Everything was set. Everything was, you know, and then it just fell through. You know, so, um, I feel like that was a little disappointing for me.”
Towela then added as she responded to Kenny T, who sorted for the reason why the collaboration fell off, “It fell off because of life. Sometimes life happens.” She further added, “Sometimes things like that happen so, you know, you take your L and you’re moving up you move on you keep it moving
The singer explained with a face, showing disappointment but full of determination and resilience to continue working on her craft and achieving her goals.
The singer also shared with Kenny T some of the international features she would like to do in the future.
“I’d love to collaborate with Tiwa. I’d love to collaborate with Ayra, I’d love to collaborate with Tems. These are women who I aspire to be like in terms of success, you know, so those would be dream features,” she told Kenny T.
The collaboration with Ruger would be career changing for the singer looking at how they are both great artists and how their artistic styles intersect – truly a collaboration that Zambians would love to see and hope it happens, if not with Ruger, even with her other dream collaboration with Ayra, Tiwa or Tems.
