Yesterday, Vinchenzo M’bale hosted the first edition of his Chakumwa Music Festival in Chipata at Blue Gums Pub & Grill.
The singer who was supported by fellow artists, rappers Bobby East, Bloodkid and Ndine Emma, and others was shocked after seeing the venue filled to capacity, resulting in a overspill.
The rapper and his colleagues who were in a car outside watching people failing to enter contemplated bringing the event outside so that everyone could attend.
The festival’s tickets were selling at 100 Kwacha for an ordinary ticket and 300 Kwacha for a VIP ticket.
The singers’ Chakumwa Music Festival first edition was a success financially and entertainment wise, and now he is likely looking forward to a bigger 2026 event and a bigger venue.
