Yo Maps arrived in the afternoon of July 17, 2024 in Lusaka after his trip to Namibia where he was arrested during a show by Namibian authorities over WORK PERMIT issues.
It is said that, his Promoters in Namibia were supposed to arrange everything which includes travels, accommodations, food and work permit but it seems all was arrange apart from the “work” permit.
The superstar was arrested and spent two nights in police cell. He was then released on bond and fined 5,000 Namibia dollars equivalent to a little over 7,000 Zambian Kwacha.
Zambian musician Yo Maps was warmly welcomed by his wife Kidist Kifle with a passionate kiss at Lusaka airport after his arrest in Namibia over work permit issues.
