“WE HAVE ENDED OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH HER” – SKY GIRLS ZED CUTS TIES WITH MWAKA HALWIINDI

Pan-African movement SKY Girls’ Zambian subsidiary SKY Girls Zed through its socials announced the termination of Mwaka Halwiindi’s contract as the face of the community and movement stating that her involvement in the recent viral videos do not reflect what they are or stand for.
The announcement read in part, “Against this background, we have ended our involvement with her. This decision reinforces our values and representation of a community that stands for accountable decision-making as well as thriving responsibly and safely.”
After mounting pressure from parents, SKY Girls Zed finally addressed concerns from parents following an incident involving the influencer.
The community assured them that they remain committed to providing a safe and values-driven space for girls.
They thanked parents for their trust and emphasized their continued support for girls’ empowerment, further encouraging girls to stay strong, kind, and true to themselves.
SKY Girls Zed is a community and movement comprising teen girls across the country whose aim is to build the girls’ confidence and self-estee. The organization further encourages girls to stay true to themselves, build resilience, and make positive decisions.
Their former brand influencer, Mwaka Halwiindi’s involvement in an adult content video, went against their core values, hence the termination of her contract.
The influencer stands at crossroads as she watches a brand that she has worked on for years crumble to the ground in the blink of an eye.
The socialite was involved with so many big brands, and now, there is so much uncertainty as people suggest that they might follow SKY Girls Zed’s move. Will she stay on top like she claims? Only time will tell.
