TOP Zambian artist YO MAPS has announced the launch of his own music festival – OLIOS MUSIC FESTIVAL, which will make its debut in 2026 promising an annual celebration of culture and rhythm.

In making the announcement, his record label Olios Records wrote in part, “Olios Music Festival! Starting in 2026, join us annually for unforgettable performances, vibrant vibes, and a celebration of music and community.”

Yo Maps is a musical genius and a powerful stage performer. With such a rich catalog and always leaving a lasting impression after performances, the upcoming festival promises to be a breathtaking life experience.

Indicators of this festival being a success are high, as observed from his continued filling up of venues whether he has been booked or his own show.

In May 2023, the singer took a bold and ambitious step as he aimed to fill up the 60,000 capacity Heros Stadium, a move no Zambian artist has ever tried. Despite not having official figures, it was speculated that 30,000 to 40,000 people attended.

Olios Records said details regarding the lineup, dates, tickets, and more will be revealed in due course.

The singer’s fans are already counting down to 2026 and buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

Mark your calendars and get your crew because it seems this festival will be a celebration of Zambian music like never before.
