YO MAPS’ EX WAMUNANDI HITS 1 MILLION SPOTIFY STREAMS ON HIS 3RD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WITH WIFE KIDIST KIFLE
With his third solo studio album ‘MY HERO’ having surpassed five million streams on Spotify, singer Yo Maps’ album leading single ‘Ex Wamunandi’ has now become his first song from the 14 track album to surpass over one million streams on the platform.
As if it’s coincidence, the song ‘Ex Wamunandi’ surpassed 1,000,726 spotify streams on a day that he and his wife Kidist Kifle are celebrating their third wedding anniversary in United Arab Emirates’ city of Dubai.
Singer Yo Maps and socialite Kidist Kifle got married on 23rd April 2022 in a white wedding ceremony held in Lusaka. In celebrating the third year of their union, socialite Kidist Kifle wrote a heartfelt message to her husband as she said in part, “When I first met you, I saw a man with dreams, passion, and an unwavering spirit,” recounting her first encounter with the singer.
The socialite added, “Watching you evolve, both personally and professionally, has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Your music touches hearts, but the man behind the music, the one I get to love every day, touches mine in a way no melody ever could.”
She further continued, “I’m proud of the home we’ve created, the love we’ve fought for, and the future that lies ahead,” before concluding with, “Here’s to many more years of laughter, growth, late night talks, shared dreams, and endless love.”
Yo Maps has kept on setting records – from doing so with his music to his marital life, setting high standards for both fields as he has set set himself as an inspirational figure to emulate. With over a million streams on ‘Ex Wamunandi’, what is the song’s next stop? Two million?
