YO MAPS OFFERES 10,000 ZAMBIAN KWACHA TO PROPHETESS PRECIOUS LUNGU

The "Umoyo Siwanga" trendsetter gains 10,000 Zambian Kwacha more in her bank account as Yo Maps' consolation for not being able to attend her album launch

After going viral for her ‘umoyo siwanga’ church twerking videos and gaining thousands of followers, prophetess Precious Lungu was back again on people feed in another controversial topic people were not prepared for and it seems it was worth it.

In a video shared on her TikTok, the prophetess said she was ready to increase the reach of her vocals’ hyms. Not only will her church member dance to them in church but have recorded version to play at home on Sunday mornings as she announced her first studio project.

The prophetess further added that she would go ahead and hold a launch for her album. What caught everyone’s attention was the guest of honor for the event, the prophetess specifically stated that she wanted the services of non other than, top Zambian singer Yo Maps as her guest of honour.

It seem she was not prepared for the backlash she would receive as her followers found the guest of honor not to be fit for the position as the launch was for a gospel album and suggested that an artist like Ephraim or Kings Malembe Malembe would be a better option for a gospel album launch’s guest of honor position. This propelled the woman of God to make another video where she defended her choice of artists, “Yo Maps ni choice yanga,” the prophetess said.

This video caught Yo Maps’ attention who then took to his Facebook and shared the video with the caption offering the prophetess 10,000 Zambian Kwacha as he could not attend due to other engagements outside the country as the singer had singed agreements to be in Kenya on that particular date. This is not the first time Yo Maps is offering cash, early in February he gave a lucky fan 5,000 Zambian Kwacha.

But this pronouncement was received with positive and negative reactions as others felt he was wasting his money on a woman who is not a prophet of God whilst others wished him well for his kind gesture.

The top Zambian singer has a number of gospel songs in his belt which include a track from his recent album MY HERO titled YESU and another single titled Nga Te Ba Yahweh. The singer has countless times praised God through his songs, post or interviews.

But social users still felt the singer was not fit for the prescribed role. One thing for sure is, prophetess Precious Lungu will be smiling all the way to the bank all thanks to her social media impact. What do you think about this story?
