YO MAPS, T BWOY, KING NACHI, EDNA, ANDY LUKI AND TRIPLE M WIN “YOUNG ACHIVER AFRICA AWARDS” IN RWANDA 

Top Zambian creatives have shined on an international stage as they scooped major awards on the big night of the 1st edition of the Young Achiever Africa Awards 2024/2025 held in Rwanda on 17th of May 2025.

The award show featured several top creatives from across Africa, and the award night was filled with glamour and prestigious. Despite the award system not being in order, here are the winners from Zambia.

1. Triple M – The rapper won ‘Best Song of the Year’ for his smash hit single, “Follow featuring Driemo.”

2. YO MAPS – The singer won ‘Best Young Achiever Songwriter of the Year’ for his works done in 2024 and 2025.

3. Edna – The TV presenter won ‘Best Young Achiever Media Personality of the Year for her work in 2024 and 2025

4. King Nachi Beats – the renowned young producer bagged ‘Best International Music Producer’ for his works done in 2024 and 2025.

5. T Bwoy – The Zambian singer won ‘Best Young Achiever Album of the Year.’

6. ANDY LUKI JR – The renowned photo journalist who was in attendance won the award for the Most Outstanding Young Photographer of the Year in Southern Africa.

The awards voting process involved two stages. The first stage involved votes, which were accumulated by the nominees’ fans liking and sharing their poster flyer. It also included the nominees’ fans following the awards socials.

In the second stage, nominees who had more votes from this stage progressed to an online SSD and SMS voting stage on February 20th, 2025, while those who got zero or fewer votes were dropped.

Congratulations to the winners who represented Zambia.
