YOUNG DIZMO ASKS KB TO VENT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DISAPPOINTED HIM AND HIS WHEREABOUTS THROUGH “MY DIARY” SONGS
In search of a spotlight, rapper Young Dizmo sort for producer KB’s help by having him feature in one of his “My Diary” songs l- a platform popularly known for rappers airing out their grievances, life struggles and achievements.
The rapper asked his fans to help him reach KB so that he could grab in his sympathy pocket and hand him some by putting him on his next My Diary song as he wants to vent about the people who betrayed betrayals.
Young Dizmo wrote in part, “I’m tired (of) being used to(by) people who don’t care about me, at the end of the day, enough is enough, I have something to say!”
KB, who felt this was not the best approach of releasing the fire in his heart and getting into mainstream, responded, “But that’s not the answer. What happened to just keep working and building momentum?”
But the rapper was determined, as he responded, saying that the platform was important to let people know about his whereabouts, new look, and style.
Top Zambian music industry player DJ Mzenga Man advised the rapper to tame his tongue, learn the industry, perfect his craft, and take it easy and slow.
Young Dizmo became an internet sensation over seven years ago after a video of him in the street raping the real Dizmo’s lyrics and taking his name went viral.
The six years old rapper would enter the Zambian music’s mainstream and feature one of the top artists in the country at the time, Ruff Kid, together with another young superstar Fly Jay on a track titled Sumina.
Besides that record, the rapper has not had any successful record in over seven years. This left him in the background, struggling to make a comeback.
The spotlight that brought him to fame many years ago seems not to be enough to keep him afloat.
KB did not respond anymore to the rapper but the silverlining in his story is in the rich advice he is receiving from top industry players – but the question still is, can he use it, and does he have the talent to use it on?
