ZAM TO LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE TO SERVE AS A HUB OF MUSIC, NEWS, SHOWCASING ZAMBIA’S MUSICAL HERITAGE AND MORE
In efforts to keep up with today’s fast-paced digital world, the Zambia Association of Musicians(ZAM), through a statement, has announced that it will be launching a new website.
To help it evolve, ZAM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Intellectual Expression to build its first ever website that will align it with the demands of modern times.
“One of the key pledges our executive made upon assuming office nearly five months ago was to rebrand the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM),” said the statement in part.
The ZAM has revealed that the purpose of this website will be to offer a platform to its members to showcase their talent, showcasing Zambia’s musical heritage and serve as a centralized hub for music, news and events related to the association.
The association added that the website will contain artists’ profiles, serve as a platform for selling merchandise, and provide a credible resource for media, booking agents, and potential collaborators.
As thoughts of creating a mobile application have already started doing press-ups in the association’s official’s mind, they have expressed excitement as this digital presence will enhance their credibility and position them as a competitive, professional and fast forward thinking association.
