ZAMBIA’S FIRST VIDEOS STREAMING PLATFORM “INWIT” HITS OVER 14,000 USERS IN ITS FIRST YEAR

Digital video streaming platform INWIT is celebrating one year since its launch with a huge milestone as the number of its users soar to over 14,000.

The streaming platform said in part, “Inwit, Zambia’s first global video streaming service, is celebrating a remarkable first year, having amassed over 14,000 users since its launch.”
INWIT’s rise is catalized by its variety of local content such as “Mwizukanji” by Cosmas Ng’andwe, “Zuza” and “Pure Heart” by Frank Sibbuku, and “Afilika” by Harley Mwewa.
“It also features popular series that have captivated audiences, including “Chiwembu,” “Scars,” “My Circle,” and “Are We Just Playing?” The company said.
To make it a comprehensive entertainment and information hub, the platform also streams MMA Fight Nights, exclusive music, and international news from Bloomberg.
The video steaming platform is available on Android, iOS, Android Smart TVs, and the web at inwit.tv at very affordable fee structures as it offers Pay-Per-Stream starting from 5 Kwacha to monthly subscription of 100 Kwacha.
This milestone signifies the platform’s growth potential and how much Zambians are starting to appreciate local content.
