NEO’S EX-WIFE SEEKS CHILD SUPPORT FOR THEIR SON WHILE HE DISMISSES CLAIMS THAT HE DOESN’T SUPPORT HIS SON

NEO SLAYER is under public scrutiny after his ex-wife MAINESS MUMBA called him out for neglecting their child and complained that K8,000 child support in 3 months is not enough and that he should treat his first-born son like he treats his other children.

■ However, the singer has dismissed these claims on his socials; he said he has receipts and vowed to stay silent on the matter.

“What makes you think I don’t take care of my son? Because someone says so?” Neo responded to a social user telling him to be supporting his son.

Mainess shared a video on her TikTok (@ironladyjohns) saying she supported the singer’s living and early career before and after they got married in 2014, as she came from a wealthy family while her partner then was a struggling “mario.”

She continued to say their marriage was marred by violence, infidelity, and neglect, with the singer leaving her for a K-Amy music promoter on the day she set up a birthday party for him.

She reported that she found out an hour later through social media that he had engaged the music promoter and they were expecting a child.

From that point, the singer disappeared from her and his child’s life for three years, only to provide K8,000 in child support, which she lamented wasn’t enough to cover tuition and other fees for three months.

Mainess revealed that efforts to dialogue through elders failed; hence the two went to court, from which they were divorced as the singer refused to reconcile despite her being celibate waiting for him.

“The reason why I am making this video is, if you are listening, I was your wife. Do you know what I want? I want you to be in the life of our son, not in my life—no! I have already moved on,” said Mainess.

The singer thanked socialite Elias Musyani, who took a stand to support and not judge him, a stance that might get him into legal trouble as the singer’s ex-wife threatened to sue him.
