NEZ LONG says he first met XAVEN at a hotel they were both staying at when they were booked for an event, and not a lodge like his partner said when she featured on the Kenny T 1 on 1 podcast.
“She actually lied; it wasn’t a lodge! It was a hotel! Smh…” said Nez Long in a Facebook post.
During the interview, Xaven told Kenny T that she and Nez Long kept looking at each other at a “lodge” in Kitwe where they were both staying, and she later told her elder sister Grace, who is a big fan of the dancehall rapper, that she had a crush on him.
The two later met at the show, greeted, and the “tall and superstar” Nez Long used the help of a mutual friend to get her number for “professional” reasons, she told Kenny T.
The dancehall rapper told the Kopala queen that he likes what she does (music) and proposed that they work on something together in Ndola with producer Kofi Mix.
She hesitated and said she was having family time; therefore, she couldn’t join him.
Nez Long later invited her to a party, but she was hesitant to attend.
“Ba Kenny, mwalishiba nga namuchita approach umwanakashi, muleshiba efyo muchita? Muleishiba uwakusunga nowa kupitapo,” Xaven explained her skepticism about attending the party.
Xaven, who was shy to explain further, said after the party, which she didn’t attend, Nez Long followed her to where she was staying while drunk and she kept him outside for four hours until midnight because men are “snakes,” she joked.
She said that she was not aware that he had stayed outside waiting after he told her that he was outside and she refused to let him in.
The top female rapper, who had already taken a hot shower, finally gave in and let him into her room.
“Efyo nashile umfwafye ububi ati awe umulumendo alolela sana. My intentions were not a relationship, they were not meeting a new guy, mwaishibafye filya kwati you are in your pretty girl era, you are just being you, getting over a heartbreak, then this guy comes, he really wants to be in your company, that’s how I decided, okay, lekeni fye engile,” said Xaven.
She went on to say that Nez Long was drunk, hyper, smiling, and didn’t say much—and she proceeded to remove his shoes. “Ba Kenny, I did things that I’ve never done before,” she added.
Xaven said even though Nez Long didn’t say much, he spent the night with her and left at 5 in the morning.
The Kopala queen did not explain when they really started dating, and Nez Long only disputed the “lodge” part, but she told Kenny T that they have been together for 4 to 5 years now.
