A little more wait for Stanbic Music Festival’s goers as the organizers of the event through their socials have announced that they will be taking a break this year in order to plan for a bigger musical experience.
Stanbic Music Festival(SMF), through a social media post made the announced as it said, “The Stanbic Music Festival is hitting pause this year, but only to turn up the volume on what’s coming next! We’re taking this moment to dream bigger, plan bolder, and come back with an even more unforgettable musical experience. Stay tuned.”
In the previous two editions, they brought out some of the finest secular musical artists in the world as the events were headlined by Ne-Yo(2023) and Omarion(2024). The event also priotised local acts such as Yo Maps, who co-headlined the 2024 edition.
Stanbic Music Festival, which was launched in 2017, is an annual festival that usually takes place in October. Since its launch, the festival takes place each year after its launch except in 2020, when it went online due to COVID-19.
The organizers have promised that the festival will come back bigger and better but did not reveal when. Its fans are now looking forward to attending and enjoying the live quality music it offers.
