YO MAPS REMOVED FROM ONLY ONE KWACHA AWARDS CATEGORY OUT OF SEVEN AFTER HIS WITHDRAWAL 

In a controversial move, singer Yo Maps withdrew his nominations(7) in the Kwacha Music Awards 2025, citing not seeking nominations but direct music industry sponsorship this year.

A check on the categories on Kwacha Music Awards’ voting platform has revealed that the singer has been included in all but BEST MALE ARTIST, a category he seeked to sponsor the winner’s prize.
