Rapper and comedian Ndine Emma while featuring on Diamond TV’s ON THE TABLE with Chimweka set the record straight, stating that he and fellow comedian and singer Saliyah Miyanda alias Vubwi have never been in a intimate relationship.
“What do you mean exes? Haha, naimwe bakamba imwe haha, ex wabandani?” Ndine Emma denied dating Vubwi after Chimweka said he saw his ex Vumbwi at his birthday party.
The 24 year-old rapper told Chimweka that the rumour of the two being in an intimate relationship ignited after Chimweka posted a picture of him while having his hand on Vumbwi’s shoulders as the two walked in at T LOW’s album listening party venue.
The rapper went on to state that at the time, the two were in separate relationships, and the rumour made their partners uncomfortable and their in-person interactions awkward.
He further added that the rumour was difficult to quench because they were together doing radio shows, traveling, and doing shows, and they didn’t have the energy to address it. “We’ve never dated before,” he reaffirmed.
Despite the rapper saying they weren’t in an intimate relationship, his online actions around that time fueled the allegations more as he called himself her favourite person and used red heart emojis on her 2023 birthday wish post.
Nevertheless, Ndine Emma clarifies that he and Vumbwi have never been intimate, and all this is a misinterpretation of two just friends hanging together’s snap.
