“God changed my story,” said TOP Zambian artist Mampi as she donated several boxes of her own shoes to charity through IdaCh TV Zambia, a platform that helps vulnerable individuals.
The singer who first reflected on how she never had proper shoes and clothes growing up and, in certain instances, borrowing from friends so that she can attend talent shows said the donation will really be helpful to some people who are in dire need of footwear.
“Now that I have collected a number of shoes, I decided to donate some to IdaCh TV Zambia, knowing that a lot of those people she helps will appreciate them,” she said.
When accepting the donation, IdaCh TV Zambia said in part, “MAMPI MUSIC QUEEN herself walked in-not just with presence, but with purpose. She gifted us over 1,000 pairs of shoes, each one a step toward dignity, hope, and possibility.”
Mampi called on her followers, who may have shoes and clothes that they can donate to do so through IdaCh TV Zambia.
