WYCLIF MWAMBA LOSES AMBASSADORSHIP JOB & A RUTH KADIRI FEATURE MOVIE SPONSORSHIP DEAL AFTER SEXUAL MISCONDUCT ALLEGATIONS BY KONDWANI BANDA

Zambian filmmaker WYCLIF MWAMBA has revealed that sexual misconduct allegations by blogger KONDWANI BANDA have made him lose an NGO brand ambassadorship and a movie sponsorship deal that was going to see Nigerian actor and producer RUTH KADIRI play a role.

Kondwani, citing complaints he said came from his inbox, alleged that the filmmaker hasn’t paid his crew and cast on his recent works, gave them poor meals, and refused to pay back the money Prescious Chichi invested in his movies before blocking her.
His post went further, making a series of personal accusations including sexual misconduct with his maids and movie cast against the filmmaker — claims Mwamba has strongly dismissed as false and defamatory.
“My super fans, I regret to inform you that I might not be able to do (the) movie I was planning to do with the mighty actress (Ruth Kadiri). The sponsors who was (were) supposed to invest in a (the) project have pulled out due to today’s allegations on the Facebook page by Kondwani Banda,” the filmmaker vented with crying emojis in part.
“So far today, I have lost a job from an NGO where I was supposed to be the brand ambassador because of the accusations,” he added in part in another post on his socials.
Through a live video on his Facebook, Wyclif Mwamba said he is not going to pursue the blogger directly, but his former crew members, who he claimed, provided Banda with information.
He said this has caused a strain on many relationships, led to one of his maids being assaulted by her husband, and made his wife very upset.
Wyclif Mwamba has since reported the matter to the Zambia Police Service in Ndola. “My super fans, we have reported. The law will set us free,” he said.
Since his release from detention in Kenya, Kondwani Banda has continued posting allegations against public figures, and the filmmaker says he is just one of his targets.
