REMMY KANGWA pays fellow philanthropist JOSEPHINE HAMAWA’s 10,000 Kwacha fine imposed by the Lusaka Magistrates Court for operating an illegal daycare in Lusaka’s Chibolya compound.đ±
â HAMAWA, who was kept in detention until she paid the said fine, admitted to establishing the daycare without authorization from the Department of Social Welfare.
“Released and taken home. Glory be to God,” wrote Mr. Kangwa after securing her release.
HAMAWA, who is taking care of about 18 vulnerable children in her daycare, was facing 9 months in prison if she failed to pay the fine.
