KANDEKE says he and YO MAPS met, discussed and resolved their differences with DRIMZ before he said he paved the way, built the foundation, and gave them support.
“Unfortunately, misunderstandings arose, words were said, tensions grew, and distance came between brothers from Kabwe,” he said as he thanked God for the opportunity given to resolve them.
DJ KANDEKE, who shared an image of them together and said it represented love, unity, and forgiveness, added that what makes people better is how they handle mistakes they knowingly make.
In August 2025, singer Drimz denounced Yo Maps’ remarks where he said he tells Boomplay to “remove artists who insulted him from their portal,” and this caused a series of exchanges in interviews and on social media.
However, the two artists were joyfully seen performing together for the first time since their dispute at a UPND campaign rally in Kisasa, North-Western Province yesterday, in a video that was shared by Olios Records and DJ Kandeke, signaling the end of their estrangement.
