JEMAX SAYS HIS FRIEND IMPERSONATED HIM, TRIED TO GET SIGNED TO ALPHA ENTERTAINMENT, AND STOLE MONEY

JEMAX says his friend pretended to be him and tried to get signed to ALPHA ENTERTAINMENT, performed his songs, and stole money.

Jemax said, “So ulya mu guys alishibepo something pali ine and alefwaya kuibikapo ati niyena.” When asked who it was, the rapper declined to reveal the name of the person but said they hung around together a lot.
He continued telling Kenny T that after completing school, he did two songs that blew up outside Kabwe without the internet, but only Bluetooth.
The person went to Macky 2’s record label ALPHA ENTERTAINMENT after hearing they were looking for JEMAX and claimed to be him, but he failed to get signed after failing a trial.
While all this was happening, Jemax, who was oblivious to the opportunity awaiting him, was working at Trade Kings in Lusaka manually packing YOYO snacks while trying to push his music career—a job he said took his entire day, left him exhausted, and earned him only 1,000 Kwacha every two weeks, which wasn’t enough to meet his daily needs.
“Elo ilya time nasa isapo naku Lusaka, napalaukako napa Yoyo ati pushing’eko music. Kanshi mutu uku alelya sha mahala uko,” said the rapper.
The same year, 2015, the rapper would get signed to the record label on a 5-year deal and released “No Love,” a song he says was his biggest release during that time.
However, Jemax said it has passed, he has moved on, and they are no longer friends. “Tayale umfwika laka, but anyway fyalipita,” he added.
