JEMAX SAYS HE USED TO PACK YOYO SNACKS FOR WORK

JEMAX revealed that he worked at Trade Kings packing Yoyo snacks from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. when he moved to Lusaka to pursue music.

The rapper said he was a school leaver and needed the money to pay radio DJs for airplay, but the job took all day, reaching home at 21:00, and he was always tired as he stood while working.

JEMAX did not state what year it was or when he left the job but this was likely around 2015.

The rapper told Kenny T that he used to get paid 1,000 Kwacha every two weeks and the money wasn’t enough to push his music and live on.
