BANA CHANDA of ABENA SWANKY T says her mother and family disowned her for choosing SWANKY T and her style of dress, saying it embarrassed them. 
“Family yandi kwena, nshalelanda nokulanda pa first otherwise, elo natampile fye, nokulila nalelila, nangu niba mani balinkene ati you are not my daughter, ufwaye banoko,” she said.
Bana Chanda added that she chose to support her husband in pushing his music and building their home. Now that they are successful, the whole family is happy and all laughing.
She is now part of her husband’s successful quartet, making hit songs and touring Zambia.
