MORDECAII says being compared to the biggest artist, “YO MAPS,” was exciting as “FIRE” was his first song and it wasn’t released with the intention of it being his biggest song, but a start to his music career.
The singer acknowledged the buzz that came with the comparison, and it was a wake-up call to realize his potential. He further added that he was asked to say certain things he shouldn’t have said.
“It was a very exciting moment for me, I’m not gonna lie,” the singer re-emphasized.
Mordecaii expressed interest in collaborating with Yo Maps when his host asked which local artists he’d like to work with.
